YM Youth
We are planning to start a Youth Group for Year 7 (11) and above, who have "graduated" from our Sunday School or who are recently confirmed and who are connected with the Minster. We shall meet about once a term initially for special events.

Dear Organisers of the XLS Event 2008
Just a note on behalf of the 20 teenagers that we took to the Minster last night—varying in age from 11yrs to 15yrs from the York Minster Youth Group—to say that we think it was the best one yet........the bands were great, especially the last one (apparently!), the Chapter House was a triumph—really engaging some of the children in reflective prayer—good workshops, (they enjoyed dancing, circus skills and loved seeing the "rubbish" costumes)—and we have been lobbied to keep the Zouche Chapel like that for our weekly Sunday School sessions!! The older ones were engaged by and understood the Christian Aid material and Fair Trade football table and the four leaders really enjoyed the leaders’ cafe and the excellent music provided for us. The most impressive group of people there is as always the Mothers Union and the lovely stewards. Thank you. (photograph: Martyn Weaver)
