Exhibitions at York Minster
The Library hosts exhibits year round that focus on a particular niche of study found in the Library. The exhibitions are held in the stunning Upper Hall of the library, providing a unique experience for the visitor. The Upper Hall exhibition space is normally open from 10a.m.-4p.m. Monday-Friday, however this is due to change. Previous exhibitions have focused on Yorkshire playbills, selections of art based around the Minster, archbishops and incunables.

Turning the pages of history
The history of the library

Since its foundation in the 8th century, Minster Library has been a centre of learning of national importance. "Turning the pages of history" presents some items that have never been displayed before, from 13th-century manuscripts to books purchased this very year.
The exhibition is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm. £2 entrance fee.
