A prayer for our brothers and sisters in Burma
Lord God, may the Government of Burma relent in their refusal to allow outside help and that agencies such as the Red Cross and UNOCHA will be allowed to carry out their desperate work, please God give these people strength and faith that their work will have a positive and successful outcome. Also dear lord please give comfort and faith to the victims and their families, many of the small villages have yet to be reached, I pray that help will speedily arrive and that the water and electricity supplies will be fixed as soon as is possible, and that food supplies will get through as well, and that people will not try to gain financially from raising prices on food, clothes goods and fuel. Lord I pray that this desperate situation will end as soon as possible, and that those who have lost their lives will be welcomed into your mighty kingdom, and those who are still alive will be blessed for a positive future, Amen.
