The Bells of York Minster
In the two western bell towers of York Minster hang a total of 56 bells, and their sound is acknowledged by experts to be amongst the most tuneful and resonant of any in Britain. All of them were cast at Taylors Bell Foundry between 1925 and 2008.
This CD has recordings of the Clock Chime & Great Peter, Ringing Peal including Call Changes on Twelve Bells, and Littleport Little Suprise Maximus amongst others, Nelson Chime, and Carillon with tracts including Magic Flute - Mozart, and Trumpet Volunatry - Clarke along with 8 further recordings.£11.99
