Prayer & Pastoral Care

As a Christian community we live out our faith by the ways in which we care for each other.

Visitors to the Minster may find it helpful to speak to one of the clergy. During main visiting hours there is a duty chaplain available in the Minster who will be only too glad to help.

Minster clergy are also available after main services, and it is always possible to leave a message in the Minster, by telephone: 01904 557200 or by emailing info@yorkminster.org.

Entry to the Minster is free for all who come for prayer or to light a candle.  Please ask a member of staff when you enter.
